Q

What is semi-systematic review

A

Such review is good when you want to apply a ‘systematic’ approach, but the field is too broad. The vast amount of sources or studies is too diverse
- typically used for describing how a subject’s history or how it has progressed over the years
- useful for obtaining ‘big picture’ insights, trends, themes and patterns
