Beneficence is an ethical principle that addresses the idea that a practitioner’s actions should promote good.

Non-maleficence is an ethical principle that addresses the idea that a practitioner’s actions should refrain from doing harm in order to ensure a beneficial outcome.

Veracity is an ethical principle stating that a health professional should be honest and give full disclosure to the patient.
