If you can’t see the document in the viewer, what could be the reason?
It either hasn’t been loaded to the workspace, its conversion failed, or you don’t have permission to see it.
How do you see the full email address detail when viewing an email in the document viewer
You can expand and collapse the email header
What is the native viewer
It displays Html rendering of the document.
How do you do a text search within the native viewer?
Search bar in the toolbar and search
If the Native viewer displays a PDF incorrectly what could be the cause?
The PDF may be not properly encoded. You can verify by copying from the original PDF into word or notepad. If text is incorrectly displayed it’s an encoding issue. If the text displays OK then it’s a different problem and best to contact support
In the Native viewer for a specific document you have fewer toolbar options than for other documents.
Why could this be?
Relativity automatically hides toolbar buttons and controls that aren’t applicable to the currently loaded document type so that your toolbar isn’t cluttered while you’re reviewing documents.
How do you stop a Persistent Highlight set from being visible in the Native Viewer?
In the Native Viewer click the Persistent highlight button in the Left Drawer Viewer Options.
Turn off viewing a specific set by clicking the bulb button.
Turn off viewing a specific term uncheck the term
How do you see thumbnails for each page of a document?
You must be in Image Viewer and click the Thumbnail button on the Left Drawer Viewer Options
What can you do in the document actions menu within the viewer?
Download Document Native Copy Document Link Email Document Replace Document Native Image on the Fly/Delete all images for this document Replace Images for this document
What does Viewer Breadcrumbs do?
You can track your current location while browsing documents in the Related Items card
If an audio or video file displays as NO for the Supported by Viewer field what could be the problem?
It may simply be because the file has never been opened. Once successfully opened in the viewer the field should display YES
What’s does Document Intelligence do?
Notifies you that there is hidden or annotated content in the current document.
Hidden Data field is populated during processing
Extracted Text Viewer - What does the dropdown list give you?
All long text fields, regardless of whether that field contains the text for the current document.
If you rotate an image will it remember the rotation
Yes. It’s persistent. If you rotate an image, when you come back to that image it will retain the rotation.
RelOne - If you wish to apply full page redactions to multiple documents how would you do this?
Click the Redaction Mode button and select Mass redact.
In the Document Image Viewer you cannot see any markups even though you know they exist. How do you fix this?
Click the Eye (Change MarkUp Visibility) button to toggle between visible, semi-visible and not visible.
Markups - You want to know when a particular markup was created and edited. How?
Right click the redaction/markup and select “Show Markup History”

It’s integrated into RelOne. Redact allows you to apply markups to imaged documents. also provides tools to make reviewing markups easy.
Redact needs to be installed into the workspace you wish to use it
What is a Markup Set?
A securable set of redactions available for applying text redactions in the viewer.
How can you secure the text behind a redaction so that reviewers can’t see it?
The only way to achieve this is to do production. If the reviewer has view rights to a markup set and they open the document in the viewer they can see the text.
When applying a markup to a document, what controls the date and time that displays on redacted/highlighted images?
The “Native Time Zone Offset” field.
Adjust the UTC value as appropriate to avoid placing incorrect time designations on docs will produce.
If you copy a Mark Up set that already has redactions applied to some documents. What happens?
If you view the document with the new markup set the redactions will still be present. Copying the Markup set also copies the redactions that have been applied to documents.
Redact - You wish to see an audit of who applied markups, reverted them or approved/rejected each markup. How do you do this?
Redact Audits tab shows Details, Created date, Who created, Control number and Action Details for every redactions relation change

What do you need to be wary of?
- English is the default.
- If you want other languages you need to download and install it
- If using multiple languages best to test on a set of docs before doing a full project run.
- Language settings must be set properly for processing with the language setting in the processing profile. Otherwise extracted text may not be encoded properly.
