An illusory promise may be considered valid if it can be interpreted to create an obligation.

as there’s some way of interpretation, that the promise can be interpreted to be valid, it will.

When are offers NOT revocable?
Offers are revocable!!! BEFORE ACCEPTANCE UNLESS 1. Option Contract (keep offer open for period of time + consideration) 2. Firm Offer: similar to Option K but need a writing SIGNED BY MERCHANT, (when period lapses, it defaults to a revocable offer) 3. Unilateral: A promise for an act, where performance is required for acceptance, IRREVOCABLE AT MOMENT OF PERFORMANCE
