A

Quick wins will increase overall process performance very slightly.
Implementation of solution will dramatically increase process performance.
Without setting up monitoring & controlling, could potentially drop back down, and also miss opportunity for continuous improvement.

How would someone finalize documentation in the control phase?

A

Document target process from improve phase.
Document who does what & when for the process, but also for monitoring & measuring.
Train employees.
Publish the information

How would someone monitor & control a newly implemented process?

A

Determine KPIs.
Create a reaction plan for when KPIs do not hit targets.

Measurements:
Output (y) - monitor continuously
Input (Xi)
Process (Xp)

Customer Specifications (Tool 1)
Operational Definition
Sample size (time, frequency, size)
Responsibilities (RACI)

Also determine emergency management - who is responsible for violation of control limits

Visualization: control charts
Shows if common or special causes
If special, use emergency management
