Control System(s) Flashcards
Both of functions and what they consist of
What are the two control systems in the body?
Peripheral Nervous system and Central nervous system.
What is the CNS made up of?
Brain and spinal cord
What is the PNS made up of?
Nerves
What is the nervous system?
The communication network and control centre of the body.
What does the CNS do?
Receives info from all over the body, processes that information, and then sounds out messages telling the body how to respond.
What does the PNS do?

What is spinal cord (in relation to CNS)
It is a part of the central nervous system which links the brain to peripheral nervous system
