What are some pressures for social responsability

A

The law - Things like minimum wage, making sure there is no slave labour involved in that business in any country that they operate in, if they are selling in the UK

Customer - Most customer wouldn’t want to buy products that they knew were manufactured by slaves

Investors - Might put pressure on businesses to make sure that they are operating in a socially responsible way

Workforce - Workers taking the initiative to do charity work, driving recycling programs, making sure the lights are turned off at night (it’s only a small thing, but is going to make a difference.

General public - If the public see something happening inside of an organisation, the have the right to make it known by peacefully protesting, which isn’t a good images for an organisation overall
