What is a correlation?

A relationship between two co variables

When do we use a correlation study?

To test a hypothesis about a relationship between two co variables or that would be unethical to manipulate

What is the correlation coefficient?
A
Measured from -1 to +1

What is a positive correlation?
A
As one covariable increases so does the other, between 0 and +1

As one co variables increases, the other decreases, between 0 and -1
