Unlike watchmaking, we have no knowledge of universe making. How would we know what parts suggest it was designed?
WHY A GOD OF CLASSICAL THEISM? This is a leap between premise and conclusion. Payley has no evidence to suggest the character of this designer, just that there is one.
Why not multiple Gods?
A mechanic analogy is incorrect. The earth is full of organic things that grew themselves.
How is the fine tuning argument applicable to the Design Argument?
Physics support for workings of design in the world. For our world to exist, a very specific set of natural physical laws must be in place, specific gravatational force, distance from the sun, etc. that it is actually more probable for us not to exist, meaning that it may be more probable that instead of the highly unlikely possibility these all occured randomly, they were actually designed.
