What is Osmosis?

Osmosis is the net movement of water molecules from a region of high water concentration to low water concentration

What is a permeable membrane?
A
A membrane will small holes that only tiny molecules (like water) can pass through, big molecules (like sucrose) can’t

Due to water molecules moving randomly at all times
