Q

Migration vs mortality and fertility in Newham

A

Between 2001 and 2011 the Newham pop of non-UK citizens increase by 72,000 and now accounts for 55% of people.

Mortality rates have fallen, life expectancy risen from 73.3 to 80.

Fertility has increase, Newham has the UKs highest fertility rate at 76.6 per 100, this is because of migrants moving in and starting families.
