A
  • Typically not a diverse industry (male heavy).
  • Different perspectives.
  • I am passionate about people entering the industry from under represented backgrounds through apprenticeships

A

As an apprentice myself, I have spoken at a number of apprentice events at state schools to ensure that students are aware of the opportunity that an apprenticeship provides.

Defines the importance of protected characteristics such as:

A

Unconscious bias is when we make judgments or decisions on the basis of our prior experience, our own personal deep-seated thought patterns.

How are team members tendered to and appointed?

A

Team members are appointed to via an RFP. I would typically tender to 4no. parties from each discipline. I would review fees received a recommend the preferred party to the client to facilitate their final selection. Once finalised the client should sign terms of engagement and enter into a formal appointment.
