It’s rich enough for food, but also easy to enjoy on its own. The NV Brut offers up attractive notes of smoke, tar, rich ripe pears and flowers in a medium to full-bodied style. There is a good measure of persistence, although the wine could use a little more polish on the finish.

The wine was aged in stainless steel for six months on the lees and underwent partial malolactic fermentation, leaving it at once bright, crisp, and clean yet smooth and almost buttery on the palate. A nose of tropical fruits, yellow apple and freshly baked bread, leads to a wine which caresses the tongue with notes of creme bruee, pineapple, Asian pear, lemon, and a touch of honeysuckle blossom.
