What is an ecosystem?
An ecosystem is a community of living organism in conjunction with nonliving components of their environment, interacting as a system.
What things interact in an ecosystem?
Plants, Water, Animals, Sun, Oxygen, Rocks, Dead organisms
What makes everything grow?
Sun, water, food, reproduction
What type of ecosystems are there?
Oceanic, rain forest, desert, tundra, Savannah
What is abiotic factors?
Abiotic factors are those non-living physical and chemical factors which affect the ability of organisms to survive and reproduce. They also limit what can and cannot live there. e.g. light intensity, temperature range, type of soil or rock
What is biotic factors?
All of the living components found within an ecosystem. These include all living, dead or once living organisms.
What is a food chain?
Feeding relationship that exists between organisms, Producers start the food chain, First order consumers eat the producers, second, third consumers
