Develops female characteristics, aspects of pregnancy and fetal development
What hormones do the testes have?
Testosterone, progesterone and oestrogen
What does Adrenalin do?
It increases body metabolism in fight or flight response.
Where is Adrenalin found?
Adrenal Glands
What does testosterone do?
development of male characteristics and production of sperm.
What is the endocrine system?
Collection of glands that release hormones in the blood stream and travel to an organ.
What are glands do?
They make hormones, are ductless and secrete hormones into the blood stream?
What does the hormones Pancreas have?
Insulin and glucagon
What does Insulin do and what’s it target?
Insulin lowers blood glucose level and is it’s target is liver and most cells.
What does glucagon do and what’s it target?
Glucagon raises blood glucose level.
