Raised ICP
Cerebral aneurysm
History of cerebral haemorrhage 
Cochlear implants
Pheochromocytoma
MI within 3 months
DVT 
Unstable angina 
Unstable fractures
Acute respiratory infection

Give potential side effects of ECT

A

Anaesthetic –> MI, arrhythmias, aspiration pneumonia, prolonged apnoea, malignant hyperthermia, muscle aches, death
ECT Procedure –> confusion, headache, status epilepticus, stroke, arrhythmias, bleeding from ulcers, PE, broken teeth, memory loss
