defat of germany bc of surrenders of its main ally-south italy in late 1943
summer 1944;soviet unnion and allies forced germnay to retreat
bc germany in retraet had to move their prisoners to concentration camps in germany and ah.
shot if couldnt keep up or something wrong
walked for weeks or put on a packed train
conditions terrible 250,000 died on the way
why knows as the death marches
hitler youth groups threw rocks at the ppl on the way
didnt let them stay in their stables
women tried giving them bread but security guard yelled kya kurni pitying jews
rlly cold conditions 75 percent frozen
60,000 evacuated from auschwitz
150,000 dead there
not given food or water for more than a week
jews moved from camp to camp inside germany away from allied forces

A

the soliders from britian,america, france and russia
some say came late as few prisoners left alive and even the n bad as tehyr were weak from starvation, diseases, torture and forced labour so the priosners continued to die sadly.
