I- Diabetes Insipidus [IV, Nasal Spray]; Hemorrhage, Post-operative abdominal distention
C- Hypersensitivity, Vascular Disease, Pregnancy, Lactation
AE- Water Intoxication [drowsiness, light-headnedness, headache, coma, convulsions]
Hangover Effect: tremor, sweating, vertigo, headache

  • OXYTOCIN

I- Used to initiate labor, promote delivery of placenta and control post-partum hemorrhage, Used to promote breastmilk let-down
C- hypersensitivity, cardiovascular spasm, hypotension, N&V
AE- non-vertex fetal presentation, fetal distress
