Recommended Lean -50°F Rich of Peak EGT

Lean until rough running, enrich to eliminate roughness plus two half turns towards rich

Excessive RPM drop during Mag Check (Possible Spark Plug Fouling)

Answer 2

Increase the RPM to 2000 and lean the mixture, leave for a short time and reset the mixture and throttle and re-test the magneto

Question 3

Fuel Flow Fluctuations (accompanied by power fluctuations)

1. FUEL PUMP Switch –ON
2. Mixture Control –ADJUST (as necessary for smooth operation)
3. Fuel Selector Valve –SELECT OPPOSITE TANK
4. FUEL PUMP Switch –OFF (after fuel flow has stabilised)
