Q
How do you calculate the epicentre of an earthquake?
A
First, find the records of at least 3 seismology stations around the area of the earthquake. Then, use the time difference between the P and S-waves to find the distance from each station to the epicentre and draw the distances as circles. The point where all 3 circles overlap is where the epicentre is.
