The Kingdom of God

Views on the Kingdom
Mystery Form of the Kingdom (Weak View)
Def. The manifestation of God’s sovereignty on earth during the present age.
* Matt. 13-Wheat and Tares-believers and professing believers grow together in the mystery form of the kingdom-Christendom.
Abeyance of the Kingdom (Best View)
Def.
1. The prophesied literal kingdom was offered and postponed.
2. The mysteries of the kingdom are its present operation on earth during its abeyance.
3. Sons of the kingdom are being made in preparation for the establishment of the kingdom.
* Ez. 8-11 The glory of the Lord departs (OT)
* Matt. 13-Wheat and Tares-The field is the world (Not Christendom). It will become the kingdom of Christ at His return.
