A

Six-pack rings are single-use plastics and invariably get thrown away after use. Unfortunately, this can result in them being picked up by birds or if the plastic waste is left on beaches, wildlife and sea life can get tangled up in it. This can lead to strangulation, deformations in growth, poisoning, and starvation.

If these single-use six-pack rings are made from photo-degradable polymers they could degrade before causing problems or, if picked up by wildlife, they will weaken to such an extent that it brakes and degrades releasing the animal, bird, or fish.
