Q

Anaerobic system likely cause of fatigue

A

lactic acid - impaired muscle contraction force, impaired velocity force
accumulation of H+ ions - makes muscles more acidic,

Q

Aerobic system likely causes of fatigue

A

fuel depletion - moving from glyocgen to fats, meaning you will hit the wall for energy supply
thermoregulation - evaporation sweat produced trying to cool the body results in reduced muscle strength and endurance, convention, radiation
neuromuscular factors - decreased CNS firing, weaker signals to working muscles reducing intensity and slow down work rate, loss of electrolytes, DOMS
