British troops occupied Washington DC in 1814, they were easily able beat the American militiamen and walked into Washington DC unopposed
Fort McHenry- successfully defended Baltimore Harbor from the British navy in September 1814
Battle of New Orleans- last major battle of the war of 1812. The American soldiers, led by Major General Andrew Jackson successfully prevented the British from taking over New Orleans

Monroe Doctrine

A
