Plot
The action in the drama
Melody
Music or what is communicated by the chorus
Character
The who in the play, can be human, animal or even a natural entity, or emotion.
Thought
What the audience learns in the course of a performance.
Diction
The language that is used by the playwright (language or dialogue)
Spectacle
All the technical aspects of a performance for (ex: sets, props, lights)
Stage Director
Provided examples are helping students understand the setting of the scene and how the scene should play out
Dramatic Play
Refers to an informal theatrical study. Students create characters and situations with or without a script.
Performance
A formal presentation, typically think of when we imagine a play. This includes an audience and a stage space.
Conventions of Theatre
Rules used in a particular performance to create the world of the play
Scat
The element of Jazz singing that Ella Fitzgerald demonstrates in the song” A-Tisket, A tasket”.

What the audience learns in the course of a performance (called moral or theme)

Technical aspects of a performance sets, props, lights. Ex: Cinderella
