What is a component part
If the gun cannot work without that part - Then that is a component part
Is it an offence to be in possession of a silencer or anti-flash device for a firearm
Outright - If it has been made for that weapon
If it has not the prosecution will have to prove that it could be used with the weapon in their possession and that they had possession for that purpose.

When does an airsoft gun become a firearm
If it exceeds 1.3 or 2.5 joules (automatic/single shot)
When does a firearm become a deactivated firearm
When it bears the mark of the secretary of state deactivated by an approved company and when the company has provided in writing that the work has been carried out.
What happens if a deactivated firearm is stripped into parts capable of being assembled to make a working firearm.
The deactivated firearm is not longer deactivated.
