In the Iodine Test, explain the method.

To summarise it into steps:
1) We need to add the food sample into the test tube.
2) We then must add 1-5 drops of Iodine into the tube.
3) All we have to do now is note any colour changes and then clean everything up.

Summarise the Emulsion Test’s method into steps.

Answer 2

1) Add the Food sample into the tube
2) Add some drops of Distilled Water and then 5ML of Ethanol into the tube.
3) Note Colour Changes and Shake Solution.

Summarise the Biuret Food Test’s method for Testing.

Answer 3

1) Add the food sample into the test tube.
2) Add a few drops of Biuret A and B into the test tube.
3) Shake the Tube gently and note the colour changes, if or/and when

What is the method for testing Sugar?

Answer 4

1) Set up a traditional water bath using a Bunsen burner.
2) Add the Food Sample to the tube along with drops of Benedict’s Solution.
3) Put Test Tube in water bath at 80 Degrees for five minutes and note colour changes.
