How to Start Fresh Water Generator?

Answer 1

1. Open the Ejector Overboard Valve.
2. Open Sea water inlet and outlet valve to the Ejector Pump
3. Condenser Inlet & Outlet Valves
4. Start the Ejector Pump
5. Open feed water line (pre-heating)
6. Open JW Outlet and Inlet valve (slowly)
7. Open valve to distillate Pump and Start
8. Wait for the PPM then press auto

How to Stop FWG?

Answer 2

1. Close dosing pump & salinometer
2. Stop the flow of heating (JW) into the evaporator
3. Stop Distillate Pump
4. Once cooldown stop the ejector pump
5. Close feed water valve
6. Close the condenser inlet and outlet valve
7. Close the ejector pump inlet and outlet valve
8. Open the vacuum break
9. Close ejector pump overboard valve
