How many fuel tanks

2 wing tanks

1

Collector tank does?

Keeps fuel pumps submerged ensuring constant fuel flow

Located at wing root

2

Surge tank does what?

Collects fuel that may enter vent system during wing down conditions

Located at outboard wing

3

How many water drains

2 in each tank

4

How many MLI's

3 in each tank

5

How to reset fuel used

Through MCDU

Nav button
Flt sum
Del button
Lsk 2 for fuel used

Or start an engine

6

How many fuel pumps in left wing

5.

Ejector
AC electric pump
3 scavenge pumps

7

How many fuel pumps in right wing

6

Ejector
AC electric pump
3 scavenge pumps
DC electric fuel pump

8

What is the purpose of the wing AC fuel pumps

Supplies fuel to
Onside engine during start
Cross side engine during crossfeed
APU with engines shutdown
Also a backup for main ejector

9

What powers wing AC pump 1

AC bus 1

10

What powers wing AC pump 2

AC ESS bus

11

What is the purpose of the 3 scavenge pumps

Maintain fuel level in the collector tanks

12

What is the purpose of the DC fuel pump. ( located in right wing tank)

Provides fuel for normal APU operation and engine start when AC power or AC fuel pump unavailable

13

What powers the DC electric fuel pump

DC ESS bus 2

14

How does manual fuel crossfeed work

Turn knob to low side

The high side AC pump turns on and supply's fuel to both engines plus extra which is returned to the low side

15

Max fuel imbalance

794 lbs

16

When if you get the fuel low level indication

660 lbs

17

If any scavenge pump stops working the collector tank drains to make all fuel available

You could still get a fuel low level indication with less than ____ lbs of fuel in that tank

3970 lbs

No uncoordinated maneuvers or pitch attitudes greater than 15° up
Or down or flameout may occur

18

What is "minimum fuel" level

2250

19

What is "emergency fuel" level

1500
