Monophony: When there’s one melody and rhythm that all instruments are following.
Homophony: When there’s’ a a melody and harmony, creating tune accompaniment. (Chords and melody).
Polyphony/contrapuntal: When there’s 2 or more distinct Melodie’s and rhythms simultaneously.
Heterphony: When there’s 2 melodies, but one is the same as the first but has some variations, such as ornaments.
