Oral tradition
-God could’ve told people the creation story and it was passed down through word of mouth then written in the bible

-Story comes directly from God through human writers

Strengths
-requires faith alone
-bible can be accepted as an authoritative source

Weaknesses
-doesn’t take science into account
-too simplistic and a rejection of our God given intelligence
-we’d have to accept wierd teachings

-means you are partially accepting science

Weaknesses
-you pick and chose what’s symbolic or not
-danger of losing your faith
-if you start to doubt the bible you may be swayed by science
