Segregation and collection of solid waste shall be conducted at the barangay level specifically for biodegradable, compostable and reusable wastes
Segregation at source
Collection is the act of removing solid waste from the source or from a communal storage point.
Segregated collection
It is the policy of the State to regulate, restrict or prohibit the importation, manufacture, processing, sale, distribution, use and disposal of chemical substances and mixtures that present unreasonable risk and/or injury to health or the environment.

Nuclear or Radioactive wastes

Consists of tissues, organs, body parts, human fetus and animal carcasses, blood and body fluids
Pathological wastes
Includes expired, unused, split and contaminated pharmaceutical products, drugs, vaccines and sera that are no longer required and need to be disposed of appropriately.
