A

subtract non variable term, then separate terms by variable

How do you find a perfect square

A
  1. do your best to factor
  2. take half of the coefficient (the one that is not squared) and divide it by 2
  3. Square that number
  4. subtract and add that number within the parenthesis
  5. distribute
  6. move the exponent to the outside and bam!
