Q
How do you find the domain of a square root function
A
set whats inside the square root to greater than nor equal to zero then solve. then write it as an interval
2
Q
How do you graph a square root function
A
- set the things only under the square root to greater than or equal to zero and solve for x, this will be your x intercept. after you solve for it
- next you will use that same equation and find numbers that make whatever is under your root a perfect square (whatever you plug in will be your x part of the point) and then solve for y
3
Q
how do you rationalise a denominator
A
multiply the numerator and the denominator by the opposite of the denominator
