How are bitmapped graphics stored?

Removes pixels and replaces them with background colour.

What does the paint bucket tool do?
Fills in a selected area with colour.
What does the marquee tool do?
Highlights rectangular shapes.
What does the lasso tool do?
Highlights irregular shapes.
What does the eye dropper tool do?
Copies a colour.
What does the stamp tool do?
Clones pixels to put them elsewhere, can be used for restoring damaged photos.
What is the brightness of a pixel?
How light/dark it is.
What is the contrast of a pixel?
The difference between light and dark pixels.
What is the hue of a pixel?
The colour.
What is the saturation of a pixel?
The intensity of a colour.
What does cropping do?
Keeps a highlighted portion of an image and removes the rest.
How are vector graphics stored?
They store the properties of each shape.
What is vector graphics used for?
Logos, cartoons, illustrations and designs.
What does the select tool do?
Highlights an object.
What does the scale tool do?
Changes the size of an object.
What does the rotate tool do?
Turns an object a selected amount of degrees.
What does the flip/invert tool do?
Creates a mirror image of an object.
What does changing the fill colour do?
Changes the colour of the inside of a shape.
What does changing the stroke colour do?
Changes the line colour.
