Q

What is a collective identity?

A

This means the team can be recognised easily since they are usually wearing the same colour kit. Team members will feel a strong affiliation to the team and gain a sense of pride when they wear team clothing on there way to games. This affiliation is important to give motivation and a sense of belonging.
