What is an organelle?
A part of a cell that carries out a specific function.
What do ribosomes do?
They produce proteins from amino acids
How do eukaryotic cells release energy?
They contain mitochondria and release energy through aerobic respiration.

10-100 micrometres and are larger than prokaryotic.
What do prokaryotic cells not contain?
Membrane bound organelles.

Parts of the cells that are surrounded by a membrane.
