Mx of Vagnial prolapsee
A
Lose weight, stop smoke, avoid liftin
medical - pelvic floor exercises
Oestrogens - HRT methodds, esp Sx
vaginal ring pessary - change every 6m
can cause discharge, UTI, interfere with sex ( shelf pessary)
Surgery - pelvic repair–
sarcocolopexy -fixing of vagina to sacrum -vault prolapse
, coloprrhaphy -mesh sides of the vagina (use in anteroceles, etc)
Hysterectomy
Colopcleisis- clsoing all parts of vagina if dont intend to have sex and other methods not helping
