Stress + side effects
Response when one perceives that demands of the situation exceed their available resources to cope
Increase - blood pressure, heart rate
Decreased immunity

Reappraisal: may lead to 1st being evaluated
Personal significance of the event
Without cognitive appraisal emotions do not occur (appraisal of event not event itself causes emotion)
