September 2nd 1957 Governor Orval Fabus called in Arkansas National Guard to prevent entry. Helped with segregation in schools. Brought publicity to the civil rights movements to less segregated areas.

December 1955 the Montgomery bus boycott began on 1st dec after RP refused to move for a white man. The boycott lasted 381 days. They carpooled or walked. It worked and led to a supreme court ruling in 1956 declaring segregation laws unconstitutional. Helped change segregation law and showed black people they had financial effect

conclusion
MLK effected lots of the civils rights movement. LRN changed segregation in schools and showed the effects of seg. MBB changed segregation law and showed that they had power. Whilst LRN nad MBB addressed specific parts of the problem MLK addressed the problem as a whole. MLK involved in boycott.
