what is out main enquiry question and why is it valid?

‘Why is Shere in the top 20% of places to live in the UK?’
- allows multiple lines of inquiries - which factors influenced this - social, economic environmental
- its clear and targets a specific location

describe our planning
A
- researched the index of multiple deprivation ( relative deprivation across each of the nations of the UK, often broken into deprivation domains ) - Shere was in the 9th least deprived category.
- aimed to find resident’s opinions about the towns, but also use our own inference of the place using a qualitative scale ranging from -5 to 5
- designed the questionnaires to have numemrous questiosn about their mode of transport

how could we have inmproved our data collection and methods?
A
- included a land use survey
-> this would help us understand what kinds of services, amenities and spaces are available in shere - key indicators of a high quality of life ( presence of desirable land uses like cafes boutieus supports the idea that shere is a highly livable and affleunt area

A
- our encironmental quality survey was plotted and presented on a radar graph
-> clear cisual comparison, highlighting strengths and weaknesses - shop and service survey was plotted on a double bar chart - trend was clear and a clear comparison visual.
