A
  1. vomiting
  2. diarrhea
  3. laxatives
  4. excess sweating
  5. diuretics
  6. renal disease
  7. primary/ secondary hyperaldosteronism
  8. insulin administration

Treatment.

A
  • Underlying condition
  • oral potassium chloride or iv in severe cases
  • Correct hypomagnesemia (causes seizures)
