Q

Steps to writing a good hypothesis(correlation)

A

Use the word correlation
Null Hypothesis: No correlation between co-variables
Non-Directional: There is a correlation between co-variables
Directional: Need to specify direction of correlation in co-variables

8
Q

Steps to writing a good hypothesis(experiment)

A

Use the word difference
Operationalise both variables
Null: No difference in DV between condition 1 and 2
Non-Directional: There is a difference between condition 1 and 2 but not specified
Directional: Condition 1 obtained a directional difference than condition 2
