Conventional (prefers the rule-regulated orderly and unambiguous activities)

Growth (to age 13)- developing vocational self-concept

Establishment (25- 44)- permanent occupation, but maybe changes in position or status
Maintenance (45- 64)
Decline or Disengagement (65+)- mediation of self-concept required
