Q

Explain friction and the 2 types

A

Friction is when things rub together

Q

Pulley/weight experiment

A

Holding the weight straight up equals 1000 pounds but when you put it on the ramp now You have twice the distance now it’s only half of the force so now the weigh is 500
The more staighten up the ramp is, the closer to 1000 you are
force x distance = force x distance (1,000x1=500x2)

Q

Drop rock example

A

If you drop a rock and count seconds each second it falls about 5 m from 0 to 1 it falls 5 m total from 0 to 2 it falls 15 from 0 to 3 it is 25 if you add those you get 45
