What does a pinhole camera do?
It lets in a thin beam of light to make a picture on a screen.
What kind of image does a pinhole camera make?
An image that is upside down, small, and not very bright.
What happens to light inside a pinhole camera?
Light crosses over inside and lands on the screen to make a picture.
How does a mirror work?
It reflects light into your eyes. Your brain sees the object behind the mirror.
What does a mirror image look like?
It’s the right way up, the same size, and the same distance away.
What do lenses do to light?
They bend (refract) light to make an image.
What kind of image can a lens make?
An image that is upside down, small, and dim.
If you cover part of a lens, does it still work?
Yes — the image is still there, but it’s dimmer.
