Advantages and Disadvantages of IHC
Medican Applications of IHC
What is immunoflourescence staining?
Similar to IHC, but uses fluorescent instead of enzymatic detection.
Immunofluorescence combines immunology (antibody-antigen binding) with fluorescence microscopy. When a fluorescent dye (fluorophore) attached to an antibody binds its target protein, it emits light when excited by a specific wavelength — allowing visualization of the protein in its native cellular environment.

Comparison Table for multiplex spatial proteomics with medicine application
✅ Multiplex – Analyze many molecules (RNA/proteins) at once
✅ Spatial – Preserve and study their location in the tissue
✅ Proteomics/Transcriptomics – Measure proteins (via antibodies) or mRNA (via probes)
