Check contents and balance.
Relate fuel remaining to an appropriate ‘marker’ for the sortie (joker, bingo, amount required for recovery, FoG, etc)

Oxygen
Check OBOGS flow indicator for normal operations (both front and rear cockpit)

Specifically ITT, N1, oil temp and pressure, hydraulic pressure, cockpit altitude (delta P if >8000ft) and electrics (volts and amps)

Location
Confirm position using TSD and relate to nearest diversion airfield.
If unsure, determine nearest using NRST (L1) on the TSD display.
Confirm surrounding airspace is suitable for the next exercise.
