  • Race Relations Act 1976 prevent discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnic and national origin in relation to employment, the provision of goods and services, education and public functions.
  • Protected men and women from discrimination on the grounds of sex in relation to employment, training, education, harassment, the provision of goods and services, and the disposal of premises.
