Non-specific flu-like symptoms early on – N+V+D

Rapid progression to high fever(38.9) + macular rash

Rash covers 90%+ of body surface + mucosal surfaces

Multiorgan involvement due to hypotension due to cardiac depression
Confusion due to encephalopathy
